Paid Data Entry Internship

Offered By:
Texans for Greg Abbott
Job Location:
Austin
Salary:
Paid
If "Paid", provide rate:
$10/hr
Job Description:
Texans for Greg Abbott, the campaign for Texas Governor Greg Abbott, is seeking an intern for this semester. Our internships are generally unpaid, but this specific role is a little more intensive, as you will be working and assisting on a large data entry project. Once the data entry is complete, our data department will compile it into a database where we'll be able to analyze the date and ultimately utilize it to benefit the campaign. This project is only estimated to last about six weeks, so that is the length of the paid internship portion. We would like someone who can commit at least 4 hours per day, or 20 hours per week, for those six weeks. If interested in transitioning into a traditional, unpaid intern role afterwards, you are more than welcome to. Our traditional interns have a more flexible schedule, work with the data and digital departments and gain experience in database management, analytics, social media marketing, graphic design and much more. Many of them have gone on to get hired to full-time roles, as we always prefer to hire from within. We are looking for someone located in Austin, TX that can get to our downtown office. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and supportive of Governor Abbott's agenda and vision for Texas, and will be a current high school or college student, though that is not required.
