Job Description: 
The Williamson County Democratic Party seeks motivated applicants for Field Organizer (FOs) positions for the 2022 General Election for their Coordinated Campaign. FOs will work in support of all Democratic nominees from Beto O’Rourke to city council and school board in the most competitive races in Central Texas. This role has flexible hours and will provide hands-on experience in the ins and outs of political campaign organizing and a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in our community. Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis with a desired start immediately. The position will continue through the 2022 General Election in November and, if applicable, any subsequent run-off elections. About the Position Field Organizers (FO) are the backbone of any campaign. FOs will be responsible for direct voter contact via door-to-door canvassing and/or phone banking. Position specific training will be provided. All FOs will be part-time, contract workers with compensation starting at $20/hour. Requirements Ideal candidates are self-starters, personable, and eager to learn and grow professionally. Interest in politics, campaigns, and/or criminal justice reform preferred. A functional cell phone and reliable transportation are required. All necessary training will be provided. Flexible hours with shifts throughout the week.
