Job Description:
American Promise is a cross-partisan organization committed to a singular vision: ratifying the For Our Freedom Amendment to empower the states and Congress to set reasonable limits on political spending, ensuring every American voice counts.
This year, American Promise is hosting our annual National Citizen Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. from June 10-12th. The conference will consist of one day of workshops, networking, and guest speakers to prepare for the following day of lobbying legislators on Capitol Hill. The goal of the conference is to empower American Promise volunteers and student activists to champion the For Our Freedom Amendment to the legislators who represent our interests in Congress. If you are looking for hands-on experience speaking with your elected representatives and are interested in getting the corrupt influence of money out of our political system, this will be an incredibly rewarding experience. American Promise is offering scholarship support to students who wish to attend but are facing financial barriers.
