Texas Legislative Session Internship

The Office of State Representative Charles Cunningham is seeking an intern for the 88th Legislative Session, February through May 2023. The ideal candidate has an interest in public policy and government and is motivated to learn more about the legislative process. Interns are expected to manage multiple job duties in a fast-paced environment and be team-oriented. No previous experience is required, but experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel are preferred. Responsibilities will include interacting and greeting office visitors, assisting with analyzing legislation and tracking bills, administrative functions such as scheduling, answering phones, and taking messages, and attending meetings and briefings on behalf of the office.
