Job Description
State Representative Ryan Guillen is seeking applicants interested in legislative communications. This is an internship that requires daily contact with constituents, public officials, media, advocates, and Capitol and district office staff. Responsibilities include, drafting e-newsletters and press releases for the Representative, monitoring social media and draft appropriate responses, drafting responses to constituent requests and other duties as assigned. Preferred candidates would have excellent writing and verbal communications skills and strong planning and organizational skills. This is an unpaid internship, but may be considered for course credit.
