Looking for an Internship? Intern with United States Senator John Cornyn!
For students looking to expand their education outside of the classroom, U.S. Senator John Cornyn’s office provides opportunities to gain real-world experience and insight into the legislative process. Fall, Spring, and Summer internships are available in our Austin, Texas office now!
Application Instructions
Please follow the link to download our application form. In addition to the internship application form, students must submit:
- Resume
- College transcript (does not have to be mailed from your registrar, a photo copy will suffice)
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- Two (2) Essays (answering the following questions): Typed, doubled spaced 12-point font, minimum of 1 page per essay)
o Why do you want to intern for Senator Cornyn?
o Which of Senator Cornyn's policy stances do you most appreciate and why?
