In a new Second Reading podcast, Jim Henson and Josh Blank look at results of the 2022 midterm election in Texas, where Republicans maintained their hold on all statewide offices, and added small gains to their existing majorities in both houses of the Texas legislature. While voting patterns showed the continuation of a trend in continuing competition in the elections, the rate of that change is gradual, and has yet to have much impact on results.
